Activity: Bush Craft and Survival

outdoors.jpg A boulder, a tree, a clump of bushes and even a hole in the ground, all these things can be a shelter for a night or longer.

Preparation is the key for most things in life even the smallest of jobs, ask any chef!
Lighting a fire in difficult circumstances is a key survival skill.

Fire gives hot food, warmth and dry clothes. Once the fire is going, psychological wellbeing and, therefore survival, is vastly improved.

This sounds really interesting - where does this activity take place? Is it suitable for under 18s?

Thanks for the bushcraft session. You all have amazing knowledge of your subject and it was extremely well presented. Thanks

Many thanks for a superb couple of days at Paddle2climb! The food, accommodation and activities were all perfect for our requirements!
Your staff were really knowledgeable and friendly and catered for all the needs
of the group. We'll definitely come again.

The centre is in a stunning location under 30 mins from the A1 and so close to the Lakes, Northumbria and outdoor activity heaven.
I particularly loved overcoming the challenges in Ash Gill and the Bushcraft and your staff were more than helpful in coaching myself and the group to achieve the group aims.
Thanks again. Adam.

Hope to see you both soon,
